Cancellation Policy

Karuna Integrated Wellness & Spa Cancellation Policy

Your appointment reserves dedicated time with your practitioner. Our policy allows consideration for unexpected situations while respecting that time and the availability of appointments for other clients.

Credit Card Required
A valid credit card is required to reserve your appointment. Applicable cancellation or no-show fees will be charged to the card on file, accounting for any payment already collected.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule without a fee. Manage your appointment through your online account or call or text 617-398-7101. This policy also applies to appointments booked less than 24 hours in advance.

Late Cancellations
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before your appointment are subject to:

• First occurrence: No fee.
• Second occurrence: 50% of the booked service price.
• Third and subsequent occurrences: 100% of the booked service price.

Late-cancellation occurrences are tracked per client and do not reset.

No-Call, No-Shows
Missing your appointment without contacting us before its scheduled start time results in a charge of 100% of the booked service price, including the first occurrence. Contacting us after the scheduled start time does not change a missed appointment’s no-show status. The first-time late-cancellation allowance does not apply.

Prepaid Appointments
For cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance, prepaid funds remain in your account as credit for future use rather than being refunded. For late cancellations, any applicable fee is deducted from your prepayment, and the remaining balance stays in your account.

For a no-call, no-show, the payment is forfeited and cannot be applied to a future appointment unless Karuna approves an emergency exception. You will not be charged an additional full-service fee for an appointment already paid in full.

Memberships & Packages
The same cancellation policy applies to appointments booked using membership or package credits:

• At least 24 hours’ notice: Your appointment credit remains available.
• First late cancellation: Your appointment credit remains available.
• Second late cancellation: 50% of the credit used for the appointment is forfeited.
• Third and subsequent late cancellations: The full credit used for the appointment is forfeited.
• No-call, no-show: The full credit used for the appointment is forfeited, including the first occurrence.

A forfeited credit will not also incur a monetary cancellation fee for the same covered appointment.

Late Arrivals
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to end at its scheduled time, and the full booked price or appointment credit will apply.

If you arrive too late for your practitioner to provide the service, 100% of the booked service price or the full appointment credit will be forfeited, including the first occurrence. Your booking reserves the practitioner’s time.

Emergencies
If an emergency affects your ability to attend, call or text 617-398-7101 as soon as you are able. Emergency exceptions are considered at Karuna’s discretion and are not guaranteed. If an exception is approved, prepaid funds or appointment credits may be retained for a future appointment. No monetary refunds will be issued.

Appointment Reminders
Text and email reminders are provided as a courtesy. You remain responsible for attending your appointment and providing the required notice, even if a reminder is not received.
