Meet Our Founder: Michelle Douglas

Welcome to Karuna Integrated Wellness & Spa—where ancient wisdom, subconscious healing, and modern science meet in service to your transformation.

I’m Michelle Douglas, a Neuro-Spiritual Integration Coach, subconscious healer, and lifelong student of consciousness. My path began long before I was born—woven into the hands of my grandmother, who healed others with quiet grace, and the spirit of my great-grandmother, a revered village healer I never met but have always felt.

Karuna means compassion. It is both the name of this space and the intention behind everything I do. My mission is to help you return to your true self—not by fixing you, but by helping you remember who you’ve always been.

I’ve spent years studying neuroscience, hypnosis, and the unseen threads of energy that shape our lives. My approach blends these tools with spiritual guidance, somatic awareness, and sacred space holding to help you reconnect with your body, your voice, and your inner wisdom.

When I’m not guiding sessions, I’m usually listening to audiobooks (over three and half months logged on Audible alone!), exploring the nature of reality, or walking alongside my own healing process—because I believe we can only guide others as deeply as we’ve gone ourselves.
