Welcome to Karuna Integrated Wellness & Spa. I'm thrilled to share my story with you and how my lifelong passion for healing has shaped our spa's philosophy. My journey began in my youth, deeply influenced by a rich family heritage of diverse healers. This lineage, especially my grandmother's remarkable healing abilities and stories of my great-grandmother as a village healer, has profoundly guided my path.

Raised in the Dominican Republic, my childhood was filled with invaluable experiences that profoundly influenced my approach to healing. The simple moments, such as sipping coffee on my elderly neighbor's porch, taught me profound lessons that have been instrumental in shaping my work, especially in my role as a death doula. In this capacity, I guide families through the poignant journey of losing a loved one, ensuring a peaceful transition and helping to honor their legacy.

At the age of 14, my path in support and healing was unmistakably confirmed. It was during this transformative time that I witnessed my first live birth and had the profound honor of cutting my first umbilical cord. This pivotal experience not only solidified my purpose but also ignited a lifelong dedication to being a doula. I became committed to supporting women through the miraculous journey of childbirth. These moments of life creation continue to inspire my work, fueling my passion for nurturing and healing.

In my practice, I emphasize understanding the deeper sources of pain, which often lie beyond the physical. Through my empathic nature, I connect deeply with clients, creating a compassionate and healing environment. My approach combines various modalities, focusing on addressing issues at their core to facilitate holistic healing.

My dedication to every client stems from a deep-seated belief in my capability to contribute to their healing and growth. By empowering them to welcome changes in their lives, I aim to facilitate their journey towards wellness and transformation. This commitment is fueled by a unique blend of skills and a genuine passion for aiding others, making it a privilege to support individuals on their paths to achieving personal well-being.
